ΙCCS at the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair
The research achievements of ICCS’s research teams were showcased at the 87th TIF (Thessaloniki International Fair) for the first time. Our researchers took part in the 87th TIF and showcased their research activities to more than 130.000 visitors that reached the exhibition during 9- 17 September 2023, discussed with politicians and representatives of the country’s business world, and did not miss a single opportunity for networking with the media, the academic and research world.
Every year, the Thessaloniki International Fair welcomes thousands visitors, hosts around 1,500 exhibitors from Greece and abroad, offers numerous important parallel events, and stands as the largest exhibition event in the country. Thessaloniki International Fair is an established exhibition event that is integrally linked to the history of Greece’s economic and cultural growth. Greek Research and academic institutions have a strong presence in this event, as it provides a unique opportunity to bridge domestic scientific production with the broader societal context, public authorities, political leadership, and the business world.
