ICCS in the European Researcher’s Night 2023
ICCS’s researchers participated once again in the European Researcher’s Night, an annual event that takes place across Europe and aims to celebrate the world of science and research while promoting the importance of science and innovation in society. This event typically occurs on the last Friday of September and brings together researchers, scientists, and the public in an engaging and accessible way.
The Researcher’s Night 2023 event took place at the iconic Averof building of the Historical Complex of Patision, on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 10:00. This year’s emphasis was on research activities addressing the challenges of the climate crisis for green and digital transition, and our research team has a lot to exhibit in this realm.
Congratulations to all our researchers that demonstrated their research work in an interesting and interactive way, engaging the public into gaming experiences and fruitful discussions.
European Researchers’ Night is funded by the European Commission as part of the Horizon 2020 program, and it is coordinated by research institutions and universities across Europe. It has grown into a major public outreach initiative that attracts thousands of visitors each year and contributes to fostering a culture of science and research appreciation.
