Technology and Knowledge Transfer in the Energy Sector
Hellenic Energy Competence Center (ECC)
NTUA and ICCS coordinate the first Energy Competence Center in Greece, a cluster that aims to support and promote innovation, entrepreneurship and technical competencies among enterprises that are operating in the energy sector.
Innovation Services and Technology Transfer in the Energy Sector
The Hellenic Energy Competence Center (ECC), coordinated by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), is Greece’s premier energy competence cluster. It is dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and technical expertise within the energy sector, a crucial component of the Greek economy.
As a spin-off company, ECC focuses on leveraging research results and expertise generated by universities and other knowledge-producing organizations, both in Greece and internationally. It operates as a public-private partnership, bridging the gap between the demand for specialized innovation services and the supply of technology transfer in the energy sector.
