Team & Organizational Structure
Organiζational Structure
The organizational structure of ICCS is a key reason of its success.
The Institute operates with a streamlined structure, led by a Director and a 5-member Board, supported by an administrative team.
On the research and technical side, ICCS features a single-layerthere is a single layer hierarchy consisting of independent research teams, known as “Research Units”.
Currently, ICCS hosts more than 30 Research Units that encompass all areas within the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Each Unit is directed by a faculty member of ECE-NTUA or the appointed ICCS/NTUA researcher.
Typically, each Unit is relatively small, including PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and support staff.
Team
Since its establishment, in 1989, ICCS/NTUA has closely followed advancements in electrical and computer engineering, successfully achieving its objectives and evolving into a leading research institute in Greece and Europe.
A major factor in its success has been the exceptional quality of students and faculty members from SECE-NTUA. Each year, SECE attracts top graduates from higher education institutions through the national entrance exams.
Additionally, the faculty members of SECE-NTUA boast distinguished track records scientific and research accomplishments in Greece, Europe, and the US.
