ODEON

The ODEON project, launched in January 2024 and running until December 2027, is a Horizon Europe-funded initiative aimed at revolutionizing the green and digital energy transition. Coordinated by ETRA I+D, the project brings together 34 partners from 13 European countries with a budget of €22.56 million. ODEON seeks to create an inclusive ecosystem of stakeholders by integrating data, intelligence, services, and market flows within the energy system. This approach facilitates the resilient operation of energy networks, especially with the increased integration of renewable energy sources (RES) and the effective orchestration of distributed flexibility assets. The project emphasizes secure data exchange, consumer empowerment, enhanced cybersecurity, and coordinated EU-wide efforts to drive the green and digital energy transition. To validate its innovations, ODEON is conducting large-scale demonstrations in five countries: Greece, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, and France.

ODEON is funded by the EU under the LCE Policy Support Programme (HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-01-15) as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (grant agreement No 101136128).
